About Me
Hi! I am so excited to continue with the Big Lagoon community as the 4th-8th grade teacher.
A little about me:
I grew up in Orange County, and moved to Humboldt County about 10 years ago. Humboldt is my home. I am so grateful to live in such a beautiful place, that provides amazing learning opportunities. I graduated from HSU with my BA in Elementary Education, and a minor in American Sign Language and Special Populations.
I am passionate about education, learning, and doing everything I can to support the youth in this community. Being a teacher is a privilege. I will always hold on to that sentiment and let it direct my way of teaching. I strive to ensure that my students feel comfortable, included, and welcome in my classroom.
